Dan Jeffries (b. 1988) is a British composer and music producer whose experience is drawn from the fields of experimental music, alternative rock and theatre sound design.
His formative years fronting bands in the desolate fens of East Anglia were punctuated by studying experimental classical music, building synths and working in recording studios. In this time he was mentored by the composer Trevor Wishart, the groundbreaking electronic pioneer.
Dan is now in demand as a collaborator in Film, Television and Theatre. He has written additional music for Black Mirror (Netflix), Silent Witness (BBC) and has been nominated for two Off West End theatre awards for Best Sound Design.
He is also an innovative record producer and mixer who prioritises raw, bold sound. He has recently mixed records by SOULS and Tom Adams and has worked across London’s top studios. Other projects include a high profile campaign with Greenpeace and a forthcoming EP remixing four contemporary UK artists.
